Appointed Quartet is a North Georgia Quartet based in the shadows of Chattanooga, TN. Our utmost desire is to sing songs and minister in a way that tells everyone the reason for our lives is the goodness of God and his Son Jesus. Each member is a born again Christian, and fully committed to the cause of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In our first 10 years of ministry we have been very blessed to have many doors opened for us and to see many people encouraged and many souls come to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In 2013 we were awarded the top group at the Gerald Crabb A&G Talent Search in Fort Payne, Alabama. Appointed Quartet was also named the 2015 & 2016, 2017, 2018 Group of the year at the Cloud Springs GA Fan Awards. We were also named top Quartet at the Gospel Music Express 2016 & 2019 Fan Awards.
We sing songs that minister to those in need of a Savior, and those who worship Him faithfully every day and put our focus on glorifying Him. We love to sing homecomings, concerts, and spread the Word through song and take every opportunity we are able to do so.
Another big part of our ministry is "Camp Meetings", Revivals, and Bible Conferences allowing time following the music for the preached Word of God. We would love to be in service with you and your church sometime. Please pray about having us in to be a part of your worship to our Lord.
I am Stephen Roberts. I was born and raised in North Georgia and have lived in that area my entire life. I was saved at the age of 6, and accepted my calling to preach when I was 13 years old.
I am married to my lovely wife Marie and live in Tunnel Hill, GA.
I attend the Dogwood Valley Baptist Church where my grandfather pastored for 53 years. I have been singing in and around my home church since I was 2 years old. I was raised by Godly parents and their influence on my life has been great. In addition to being the tenor, I am also the manager, booking agent, group contact, treasurer and event planner for Appointed Quartet.
My Favorite groups are Gold City, Brian Free & Assurance, The Kingsmen, Kingdom Heirs and Triumphant Quartet. My favorite songs of all time are "The Greatest Of All Miracles" , and "Midnight Cry". I hope and pray that our singing is a blessing and will help lead many to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May we be worthy of the "Appointment" he has placed on our lives. God Bless.
Kelton was born in Gadsden Alabama but raised in the Chattanooga Tennessee area, and Ringgold Georgia. Kelton’s father is a pastor so moving around through his life was part of being a preachers son.
Kelton first started singing at the age of 8 years old in his church where he realized that he had a calling to sing. From there he has sang in several quartet’s through the years, and at the age of 27, Kelton moved to Alberta Canada to join his first full time Southern Gospel Group, where he sang for about 10 years traveling all across Canada, and parts of the United States.
After 10 years of singing in a full-time group, he felt the Lord leading him to start his own ministry. He then started a southern gospel trio . They traveled all across Canada for about five years, singing at The National Quartet Convention in Red Deer Alberta Canada and ministered to many hearts.
Kelton‘s love for southern gospel music runs deep, but his love for the Lord runs even deeper. His hearts desire is to spread the gospel to as many as he possibly can through Music.
